Sting Was Amazing But The Echo Lounge...?
Jerrod Carmichael was incredible in this new, small venue, although the Echo Lounge & Music Hall lacks something, especially the high prices for the drinks. The spot we chose was perfect and I loved the intimate setting. We strategically positioned ourselves to avoid feeling crowded or squished. The sound was excellent and the venue was easily accessible. However, when drinks cost $13 or more, it really puts a damper on the experience. I was surprised when I asked for a cup of water and received a $5 can of water that was quickly opened without any option to change my mind. Seriously? Just give me a cup. Regardless, if the headliner is worth it, I may consider returning, but this venue is not my first choice moving forward.
